Lonza & Caprese Salad

Ingredients

50g Hilton’s Charcuterie Lonza

100g Mixed tomatoes of your choice

120g Bocconcini Mozzarella

Few springs of basil leaves

1 Tablespoon Olive Oil

Salt & Pepper

METHOD

Start by removing the pack of Lonza (but don’t open) from the fridge 20-30 minutes before plating to allow the meat to get to room temperature.

Now cut your chosen tomatoes to the size and shape you desire, cut the mozzarella balls in half and roughly chop a few of the basil leaves, add everything into a mixing bowl and drizzle in the olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

Now open the pack of lonza, remove the outer packaging and film and bend the board back and forth if necessary, this will help in releasing the slices from the board.

Add the lonza to the tomatoes and mix everything together by hand or spoon, place everything in to a salad bowl, add the remaining basil leaves to garnish and drizzle olive oil around the whole dish, this is a great little salad that doesn’t need to look fancy but will sure taste good on a hot summers day.
